About the Program

The Anokeewin Wiichiiwaawin Employment Program is a full service employment centre that offers a variety of services for individuals aged 15 and over, including: computer access, employment and career counseling, resume and cover letter development, job preparation, training and wage subsidy opportunities. We are equipped with 4 computer stations, laser and color printers, scanners, internet access, web cams and much, much more.

Funded through Service Canada and the Aboriginal Skills Employment and Training Strategy (ASETS), we are an Apatisiwin Employment Program as part of the largest network of employment and training services for urban Aboriginal people in Ontario. Through the Apatisiwin program, we are able to provide community-based and one-to-one supports and resources to assist eligible community members in accessing a range of training, education and skills development opportunities.
